Energy Land & Infrastructure (ELI) is a civil engineering firm serving public and private sector clients across the Southeast. We take pride in delivering high-quality technical work, fostering strong client relationships, and maintaining a collaborative team culture.

We are seeking a motivated Marketing & Business Development Intern to join our team beginning in March 2026 to support firm-wide marketing initiatives throughout the summer. This internship features a structured training period alongside our Marketing & Business Development Coordinator from May through the end of June, followed by the opportunity to independently manage day-to-day marketing activities from July through mid-August, with guidance and support from firm leadership as needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or business development to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. The intern will play an active role in key marketing efforts while developing valuable real-world skills and professional experience.

Proposal & Business Development Support

  • Assist with proposal preparation, formatting, and organization
  • Update project descriptions and staff internal resumes
  • Coordinate with the technical staff to gather client proposal content
  • Assist with maintaining proposal and marketing databases/files

Graphics & Marketing Materials

  • Create and update marketing graphics using templates and brand standards
  • Assist with internal resumes, project sheets, and general marketing collateral
  • Ensure materials are consistent with company branding

Social Media & Communications

  • Manage and schedule company social media posts (primarily LinkedIn)
  • Assist with content creation, captions, and basic engagement tracking
  • Coordinate posts related to projects, staff highlights, awards, and company news

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or other related degree
  • Proficient with business software (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
  • Experience with Canva (Preferred but not required)
  • Experience with LinkedIn or other professional social platforms (Preferred but not required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage deadlines independently, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Schedule:

  • Part time (15-30 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexible schedule
